Zeeta has been busy in the National Development Team for Young Arts Fundraisers. She has been helping to shine a spotlight on all things new in arts and culture for 2023 in the region. This has included Eurovision and Towner 100 at Towner Eastbourne.
Zeeta is a trustee of The New Art Gallery, Walsall.
As such she has recently previewed Karla Black’s new solo exhibition showing in the Gallery. This is Black’s largest solo exhibition in the UK and includes previously unseen sculptures by the critically acclaimed Scottish artist. She represented Scotland at the 54th Venice Biennale in 2011 and nominated for the Turner Prize in the same year.
Zeeta is going to keep us up-to-date with other excitements planned for the Gallery. This Autumn it celebrates the 50th anniversary of the gifting of the Garman Ryan Collection which includes artworks by Van Gogh, Monet, Constable, Picasso, Matisse, Turner and Lucian Freud.
This Collection of 365 works was donated by Lady Kathleen Garman, widow of sculptor Sir Jacob Epstein.
