Jane would be the first to say that this was a team effort. Carol looked after our members, Bernard hosted our lecture evenings, Linda wrote as our art critic and Nicola kept us organised. Each of them gave their time and energy to keep the Society running, and we are very grateful.

About The Arts Society Victoria
The Society brought people together for monthly lectures and events in Central London.
Our lectures usually took place at Grey Coat Hospital School, Greycoat Place, Victoria (SW1).
The programme covered fine art, music, architecture, theatre and much more.
Everyone was welcome, and members enjoyed learning from our speakers in a relaxed and friendly setting.
The Arts Society Victoria (TASV) is part of The Arts Society, a leading arts education charity formerly known as NADFAS. Local societies across the UK, and around the world, share the same curiosity and love of the arts.

Following the final lecture of the season in September 2026, we are working on a plan to continue The Arts Society Victoria under the management of Central Office. We very much want the Society to carry on and are committed to making that happen.
