Jonathan Keates, La Serenissima – The Story of Venice

Keates is an English writer and biographer and has written twenty-three books on an eclectic range of subjects.

He has also served as the Chairman of the Venice in Peril fund.

February 2024 – Tuesday 6th February at Grey Coat Hospital School:

Charlotte-Anne Shipley, ‘I could have danced all night’  – an Evening of Song.

Charlotte-Anne will be accompanied on the piano by Richard Hills.

We will create a conducive atmosphere to enjoy a glass with friends whilst listening to an interesting and enjoyable repertoire to celebrate Saint Valentine.

Charlotte-Anne read Music at Oxford University, where she held a choral scholarship.  She studied at the Rome Opera Studio for two years, where she worked with Italian soprano Renata Scotto. In 2013 she was a finalist in the Montserrat Caballe International Competition, and was subsequently invited to masterclasses with Montserrat Caballé at the Liceu in Barcelona.
